The opening concert given by Irena Chřibková together with the percussionist Martin Opršál presented first a premiere of Sonata for Organ solo, No. 4 by Otomar Kvěch, a composition of an interesting structure and colours, dedicated to Kvěch´s deceased spouse. This piece was followed by a scarcely performed cycle Landscapes of Patmos for Organ and Percussion by Petr Eben. The profoundly studied and performed composition left the audience with an overwhelming impression supported by magnificence of the Basilica space.
